This group of prints is complete now. Three woodcuts from one plate for grey and one colourplate.
Step by step, some small parts of the grey plate are carved away and then it is printed again.
So in in darkest parts the colour adds up to a very dark tone. All in all the blue print has been printed 12 times.
That is only possible with  the strong japanese washi-paper.

Diese Gruppe von Drucken ist nun vollständig. Drei Holzschnitte von einer Grau-Platte und einer Farbplatte.
Schritt um Schritt wurden kleine Teile der Grauplatte entfernt und dann wurde erneut überdruckt.
So summiert sich die Farbe in den dunklen Stellen zu einem kräftigen Ton auf. Insgesamt wurde der blaue Druck 12 mal überdruckt. Das ist nur mit dem widerstandsfähigen japanischen Washi-Papier machbar.
